Proper installation is essential to assure a quiet, smooth running ceiling fan. Here are a few things to remember:

• Make sure everything from the electrical box in the ceiling to the last piece of light kit glass is tight. Nothing contributes to noise and wobble like loose parts and screws.
  
• On any fan, even a Signature, clicking sounds may develop after a few weeks of running as the wood blades are compressed by the blade screws and are not as tight as they were when originally installed. Usually just one retightening of the blade screws will quiet the clicking sound for good.
